Egnater Rebel 20 Voltages

Post by dorrisant »

Can anyone here help me? I'm replacing the B+3 filter cap (c129) and was wondering if I could use a 350v rated cap in that spot.

I traded some gear for this amp in non-working condition. Burnt dropping resistor (r118). Filter cap c117
had arced between the cap and pcb leaving carbon and therefore a dead short. I cleaned that up, replaced r118 and moved B+3 filter cap (c129) over to replace c117 in the hopes of getting an answer. If 350v will work, I can get it fired up tonight!!

If not, 47uf 450vs are on there way!

Thanks in advance!

Gotcha on that, Mark... What about c129, B+3? Wondering if a 47uf 350v would hold there.

I popped in a 22uf/450v temporarily... Looks like 367v on that B+3 filter cap.

Waiting on replacements... Thanks again Mark!

AMAZING!!! I ordered these caps at 5:30 pm on yesterday... They were in the mailbox today at 3:00pm. I feel like I've been in a time warp or something like that. How does someone ship USPS First Class form Freehold, New Jersey to Evansville, Indiana (800+ miles), in less than 24 hours? Exactly the same brand as what was in there stock.

Or "flurotron" on eBay.

I will order from him again!
