Measure your heater voltage to double check.

You don't want to run it over 6.3vac as that will shorten tube life.

OK, so it is running DC on the heaters.

Just a different style power supply.

Is your transformer geared towards 120vac house current?

If there is room I would put a 10w 12 ohm resistor there as it is handling a lot of current.

Yep there should be plenty of room. i have one coming fro mouser 2hrs to find and order 10 item a couple they didnt have. Digikey had em. but still a pia site.
