Help locating Tube Bias learning information ~ Links/Videos

Post by Toppscore »

Hi. I purchased a multi-meter.

Any suggestions towards good/quality known instruction
Links or Videos on beginning "how to BIAS guitar amplifier tubes"?

Mostly, I own vintage Fender tube amps.

Please help me locate some "known" quality
beginning TUBE BIAS instruction materials.

Thank you. Toppscore :)

Thanks, Xtian and Martin.
"What is Biasing" and "The Last Word On Biasing".
I've my homework cut out :shock:

Anyone have links or articles or videos with regard to
vintage 1950s & 1960s Fender amps?
And the settings for each amp?

I checked Ampwares and the Fender Field guide. The information
seems incomplete. Basically listing each amp with a
* Cathode Biased
* Fixed Bias
* Fixed Bias with bias adjustment pot (or) Fixed Bias with Bias Pot
* Fixed Bias with adjustment pot or balance pot (AA769, AA270)
* Fixed Bias, nonadjustable

There may be others . . . . . but did not find the correct Bias settings.
