I don't post a lot, but enjoy all the 'D' and other threads on this forum.
Members have helped me with info before, and I would appreciate some expert advice.
I have the above amp for acoustic guitar, and for small, intimate gigs it is excellent, both tonewise and volume-wise.Unfortunately I let our mando player (country band) use it and after a mando thrashing the speaker is rattling and scraping. I've contacted Vox re a replacement speaker, but I
wondered if anyone can suggest a 6.5" 8ohm full range speaker that would be an useful upgrade with better power handling and maybe more bottom end. Ideally one available in the UK, where I live.
