OT Transformer Impedance question

I have a Dual Showman OT. It's for running 4 6L6's into a 4 ohm load.
If I use it for a 2 6L6's, should I run it into an 8 ohm load?
I think I'm ok doing it this way, but I'd like to make sure I'm figuring right.
