Got a couple of trannies rated at 250-0 17-0 and 6.3, the question is using a full wave rectifier do i connect as i would a coventional 250-0-250 transformer or is there anything i need to change

That's a question I'd like to hear answered as well. I've seen a few Xfrms with just a 250-0 tap, as opposed to a 250-0-250 tap, and it wasn't clear to me now to hook it up.

You need to use a full wave bridge rectifier.
