VVR help

Hey there.

I recently put a new VVR kit in my Marshall Class 5 and it seems to work as it should except for at lower volumes.

when the VVR is turned down (no attenuation) it is fine.

turned up a little from that to about 70-80% it is fine.

at about 50% it's at a decent night time volume however, it takes a second to stabilize which is normal as per the instructions.
however after some playing i notice when I strike a note I get a weird volume swell. its loud when I strike then it fades off to a lower volume and swells a bit.

could this be a problem with the mosfet? or does it need more time to stabilize? I was thinking of running a 270-330k resistor across one of the caps to make it discharge voltage "in time" with the voltage knob.

anyways, any help would be much appreciated.
