they implemented almost the same idea on the output with a 15R 25w resistor.
Oh, ya, not output volume control, but I suppose the front panel volume will control it to a degree.


I finished my Herzog project too. It's a 5E3 with VVR and then the dummy load and pot to line out to Herzogify it.

It probably doesn't need the VVR, but, it's a good way to save tube life I suppose.
