New Guy Needs Help With Gibson-esq Build

If I wanted to add some treble (I hesitate to use the unspecific "sparkle" or "presence") to the overall sound of the amp, should I start with the preamp dressing or the 470k resistor feeding the PI?

It should be very easy to tack or clip another resistor accross the 470k to hear the effect of reducing it. Try something like 100k to get a parallel combination of 82k.
