I am converting one of my Dlators ( seemed to work just fine ) over to series/parallel function. In doing so I noticed that I had an incorrect value for the RC off of pin 8. Instead of 47uf/1k3 I had .47uf/1k3 ? As I mentioned the unit seemed to work fine. What did that disproportionate value do to the circuit?

Re: Dlator w/ disproportionate value
You'll lose a lot of bass response. The 47u will bypass the cathode resistor down to 5 Hz, whereas the 0.47 will only bypass down to 500Hz (at the -3 dB point). I'd definitely swap that for the correct value.

Re: HZ
The best and most concise package for this kind of thing that I know of is the common-cathode gain stage document on the Valve Wizard's site.angelodp wrote:Martin, can you point me to a good primer on understanding HZ
