tremolo wires interact

Post by andrew »

I have a grid bias wiggle trem circuit that helicopters when the plate and grid wires are close. They run parallel with each other. If I move the two wires away from each other helicoptering stops but so does the trem. I ran the plate wire at a '90 angle once but there again no helicopter and no trem. Any ideas on this? Thanks.

Grid and plate wires should never be close and parallel. Post a schematic and measured dc voltages for that PS node, plate and cathode with the trem switched off.
If it says "Vintage" on it, -it isn't.
