Might ask over at DIY Audio or other Hi Fi place, those guys use those all the time.

Re: Shaft Extender Where To Find?
I've used a aluminum dowel from a hobby store and attached it to the pot shaft using heat shrink. You can chew up the end of the dowel and even the pot shaft is it's not a knurled type to make the heat shrink hold even tighter and use a couple pieces for added stiffness. You could also get a metal coupler type of gismo with set screws at hardware stores if the heat shrink idea isn't solid enough for you.

Re: Shaft Extender Where To Find?
I keep getting these emails telling me my shaft is too short. If you find a solution that works, let us all know.

I didn't see it anywhere. Post a link if you know where they hid it otherwise I can always email them and ask.funkmeblue wrote:parts connexion has them
Others:
Shrink wrap is clever I was thinking aquarium tubing if I can find a snug size.
I goggled DIYA, I'm not the first to ask, same quirky tips and recommendations. I'd like to find the setup in the pict first before improvising. It'll be a git amp in an open wood hifi chassis: snazzy on the outside so I want it snazzy on inside.
