Anybody make a Z-28 type kit?
Does anybody offer a Z-28 type kit that has two 6v6's and an EF-86 preamp section?
Re: Anybody make a Z-28 type kit?
I don't think there are any kits like that but turretboards.com offers the turret boards for this amp or you can make your own.
I have a board for the Z-28 and if I get around to making this amp I would just use the Heyboer 18w Marshall tranny set that Turretboards.com offers as it is a very good set and the PT is standup verticle mount so no cutting PT holes, that I like. You could go with a 6k OT rather than the 7k5 or 8k the Marhall replacement has.

That should work fine I would think.

On the pic of the Dr Z, it shows a choke. What do I do about that?
