Marshall Super Lead B+ Voltages

Post by JammyDodger »

Hey All,

I have a '17 Super Lead and am trying to see if there are published voltages for the B+ dropping string. I've got a schematic but it does not show voltages.

Cheers, Mike

You have the World War One model. Those were a bit different.
What kind of numbers are you seeing. We have a '71 with 505 on the plates..........

My D-series one has 445V on the plates and about 115V on V1.

These amps are all over the place with regards to voltages. I have seen a D series with 560V too.

early 70s amps have HIGH voltages, often as high as 530-540. not the 490v you'll find on most superleads. watch for redplating
