I guess I am the only one that is lost....
It seems to me that in your first post you changed C2,C3, C4.
Then later on you changed them again.
Now in your last post you say you changed C2,C4.
Is it just me? How many leaking caps, in the same position, did you have?

I assumed only 1 cap was leaking , so i only lifted one cap at a time and then measured the dc on the treble pot. The problem Was c2 and c4 were both leaking dc so while c2 was lifted , c4 was still leaking and vice versa. As the readings didn't change with either lifted I thought both caps were fine and it was some other issue. It was only when I disconnected both at the same time to measure the voltages after the cap that the dc on the pots dropped to under 2 mv. I hope that clears that up,
