Resistor question

Post by toskrlec »

Hi, one quick question. Can I use in place of R23, R24 (100k 3W) , 2W resistors ?
Because i cant currently find 3W in local store. Culd I expect problems ?

Thanks.

What about a single 220K 2W ? That is what I do and after 3 years no problems. I did the calculations at the time and it seemed to be sufficient.

Or if you want peace of mind you can use a couple 2 watt 220K's in parallel for each spot and you will get 110k (well within tolerance) and you will have 4 watts of handling.
