Is it jealousy ... or just envy?

Post by ampcrack »

I'm glad that there are forums like Amp Garage. Most of the time it's a great resource where you can learn and read about others experiences with Dumble and Dumble type of amps.

What I don't like, is to see how forum sites get misused, with jealousy/envy, taking things and people apart and especially with misplaced advertisement ...
Don't get me wrong, But sometimes people just blow my mind .... how little knowledge they have, which sadly is mostly based on hearsay or whatever...

I'm sorry what posts are you reffering to? You seem to reply to something I don't get...

BTW this is a builders forum, if you have issues with a certain person; do a PM.

John,

Please take this offline. As Erwin said, this is a builders forum and not intended to air this type of issue.

Of course, if you'd like to share something amp specific, such as pics/clips/specs of your baby. Please feel free.

Regards....

Well; if you are to perform you own version by putting STRUCTO on point and then call him out based on comments he made on another forum site, then respect this public forum and handle it man to man......that's what a good red ale is for.

Otherwise, let's not turn this forum into MySpace.

FYI, don't be offended as I don't know either of you personally, but you both are cool with me. :D

No one had issues with the fact that somebody wrote and published a dumble book, only with its pricing and aggressive handling of copy rights.

We've all seen some interesting stuff on this thread, but the great thing is that the information exchanged certainly outweighs the cat fight material, and thanks again to the moderators---

John,

Perhaps if there was a little bit more teaching and helping to the members we all would be better off. Very few on this site have commerical interests so passing of knowledge won't hurt any venture you may have.

If a person speaks out of line one can always politely disagree and state why.

Tom what did you say? Now I'm curious. :)

Since AmpCrack isn't man enough to respond to a PM and after a little work behind the scenes I think it is about some comments I made on another guitar forum after somebody started a thread about "The Dumble Book".

I gave my opinion based on what I have read about it and I posted part of the 8 page terms of agreement.

That's all it was, my opinion and some hard based facts.
No I didn't buy the book, I can think of far better things to spend almost $300 on.

So AmpCracked is busting my balls on this forum about a comment I made on another forum.......

Geez, get a life man.

Oh heck we've already gone over that in two separate posts when the book first came out.

You the man Tom. :)

Hi Structo,

the guys were right, so I just sent you a PM.

And just beacuse I'm not regularly checking
the ampgarage site, some people do have other things
to do, doesn't mean you can get rude.

And I don't like people threatening me, so take it back.
