Clear pictures of the front and back, including the serial number.

Also, gut shots. There are a handful of guys here with a lot of experience that could immediately tell if it is authentic.

Lastly, if it is part of an estate of late Nigerian prince, then it is not real.....

On first observation I'd say it's real, or a SUPER good fake

That looks like one out of that batch of 5 resophonic1 put up the pics of a while back. If so, here's a pic of another one.

That amp (and picture) has been on Ebay several times over the past two years. I think Gil Ayan might know the amp.

Not sure I do... or you mean it''s Scott W's? Either way, the amp looks legit based upon the pictures. Who is the seller? If I know him, I may be able to chime in about the amp.

the seller says its a 1997 amp, sold originally to a high end chicago music shop then to him, I have requested the name of the shop, and good pics and ser number, for further discussion, if he's not able to do this then i will walk away, thanks for the input so far, I appreciate the help..

Not that there was any doubt, but Funk is correct.

I would have swore they actually had two Dumbles in the place, back about 3 or 4 years ago. Not sure what models. Wasn't ready to throw that type of cash around, and was fresh to this site, at best when I was last in there. Great place to window shop. I think they may have just started carrying Andy's amps around that time.

The salesman basically confirmed some of the HAD legend discussed elsewhere on this site, after I made the mistake of calling him Howard.

It was Steve Schmidt when he had Classic Ax I think was the name. He advertised them through Vintage Guitar Mag. He was selling the heads for $11,000 new and I think the combo was $12,000. He's somehow affiliated with Chicago Music Exchange now so you may be able to contact through them. This is one of the batch of 5 that went through him then. The pic I put up is another from that batch. I've personally seen three of them and they all sounded similar but had a few small parts variances. The were HRM Skyliners with EL34's I believe. Make-n-Music has had a few over the years but I don't they they ever had one from this bunch.
