My Dlite 44 came out pretty well:
virually no hiss,hum, switching noise, or RF,
beautiful cleans,
and very nice saturation in the output section when pushed.
(this last may not be, strictly speaking, pure D... dunno but I liked it)
Sadly the OD has sounded just plain ratty from day one. I've been through it all;
the AG tweeks, vintage tubes, verified voltages, guitar lessons.
I was starting to think maybe i needed to add the goop(yeah thats the ticket)
when I realized I had the OD cathode leads reversed.
Sooo... for broken chainsaw overdrive on single notes(power chords were kind of OK)
try 220/2k2 150/3K3
you could follow the layout.
