Why no LNFB on V1b HRM amps?

Is there some adverse effect with this combination, or is it just that the man behind the curtain never made one this way?

Some HRM amps have the fb cap. To my ears, the cap tends to focus the mid-range a bit. Clip one in/out and listen.. you might like it.
