I'm in the process of buying a Dumble Overdrive Special 112 Combo, and since I live in Sweden, and the amp is in the United States I just want to check with you guys if everything seems right.. I'd hate to be fooled on my lives savings...

So, do you think this is a real dumble, and an honest seller?
He has said that he wants the payment to be made through a third party.. Mooneybookers. Is that a trustworthy company?
Should I post our entire dialogue here so you can see if you think he is trustworthy?
Guys i really need your help, because I really could not afford losing as much money as this is..

$4k is bit too low isn't it, considering Dumbles are going real high?Sometimes good deals may not be that worth it after all?

Do not send this person any money. PM if you want further details. This amp has been on ebay several times, been advertised at 'music ground' in England and the seller is 'not to be trusted'. If it helps post your dialog with him and I'll share mine.

Just out of curiousity.. Is there any way to see that it isn't a real Dumble..? It looks pretty original, but so do many of the clones of course...

Hi Tommy,

I think what is meant is, that this is a scam, which means that the Ebayer stole the pics of a real Dumble and posted a "fake" Ebay offering.

The amp in these pics probably is original, but the Ebayer does not own it.

Every time I see a Dumble on eBay, I always think about who would want to send that amount of money, before even seeing the actual amp..

Vad jag vet finns det bara en dumble i norden, och den ägs utav en Svensk gitarrist, vars namn jag ej vill utlämna.
Det är en Overdrive Special som tillverkades exakt likadant som den Robben Ford använde på Talk to your daughter det var även den första mr. Dumble tillverkade efter att ha tillverkat Robbens.
Jag har inte hört något alls om någon annan i norden överhuvudtaget, men det skulle vara bra om det fanns fler!
