OD level

Post by 10thTx »

If you had limited space for pots on a chassis and wanted to eliminate the OD level pot with a fixed value .......... what would you suggest trying? Would a 150k/56k to gnd be a reasonable starting place to experiement?

One of my amps has a trimmer on the inside. 200K/56k would be just fine IMO. Or 220k/68k if you prefer the 180K series resistor. Your load is a bit low and it may effect lowend and also add a touch of harshness.... Stock is either 250K or 280K total load to ground.

You could use a concentric pot and have both controls in one space as well
