When I build 100 watt ODS amps I use the Hammond 300 series transformers and I have always been powering the relays from the unused 5v rectifier wires.

The Hammond 300 series transformers have the 3 yellow wires. Two go to the relay and I always float the 3rd yellow ground wire since I use the ground from Grangers relay board.
This time I am using a Hammond 290HX 100 watt transformer for my build. This one has no yellow rectifier taps.
I purchased a Hammond 166MS 5v transformer to power my relays. The green secondary 5v wires on this transformer also has a 3rd wire for the ground. I believe I should also not ground this 3rd wire on the transformer? Same as I did when I was using the 300s series transformers that had the built in 5v taps. Everything is so expensive these days didn't want to damage anything by experimenting!

Just use the green secondary wires the same as you have done before, and leave the G/Y CT ungrounded.
