Heaters go where?

Post by Oddvar R »

Hi. I was wondering if the heater wires go directly from the transformer to the tubes in the OD #183 build, or?

They usually do. You need to use a transformer that provides heaters current. Does it answers your question?

Hi an thanks. The heaters would normally go to the power tube, or via the pilot light. But here there is a bit of a different arrangement?

It's a little circuit for the LED style DC voltage indicator light - check out the 183 schematic.

What kind of indicator light do you plan to use in your build? If you use a Fender style bayonet lamp that runs on 6V AC, you don't need that circuit at all.

Hi and thanks, what kind of lamp would be used originally? I have mounted a Marshall type now, but a lamp that was original to the Dumble would be better?

It's a regular LED.
