#124 Skyliner Odd Layout
Used a pre-punched chassis from AES/CED:
https://www.tubesandmore.com/products/P-HCH01
It has an odd layout to work with for a Dumble but it worked perfectly.
Classic Tone TX set with the optional OT that has 4, 8 and 16Ω taps:
http://triodeelectronics.com/twinreverbbundle.html
I had to convert the PT to a stand-up.
This is the first 100w ODS I have built and man is it loud!!
Deviations:
Eliminated the FET input, subbed in 150k at the end of dropping string.
All Filter caps are on one board.
Switches for PAB and OD are relocated to the front panel.
Can't think of any other changes at the moment... just thought I would share.

What a super nice build.
I have the same chassis I should send my chassis to you so you could build number 2
Did you find the correct size mounting nuts for this chassis, odd size.

Re: #124 Skyliner Odd Layout
Thanks Mark. I haven't looked for any capture nuts yet... I didn't realize they were an odd size.
I wanted to find a good use for those chassis and maybe start building with them. I like them but when I ordered two, one was riveted and one was welded. I called and asked why the difference. They didn't know and said all they had in stock were riveted. I did save the welded one for another project... maybe another ODS. This one is commissioned and has to go home eventually.
As far as building yours... I would certainly build yours for you.
You have lots of parts there, I'm sure. Maybe, if you are serious, we could work that out.

Thanks D!
Mark, do you think these will work? Second from the bottom. Part CNA-1421.

Chassis doc says .410" - 10.41mm. The seller is not around to ask.

I asked CEDist and talked to two different persons with no answer, they said they did not know a supplier for that size captive nut.

Re: #124 Skyliner Odd Layout
I used something similar to these.
U style clip on nut 1/4"-20
Found some at my local Ace hardware
They seem to work on this chassis and some of the older TW style chassis

Re: #124 Skyliner Odd Layout
That's a slick looking build there. Not easy with the parts hog these are.
Well Done!

Re: #124 Skyliner Odd Layout
Thanks for the kind words...
I might have to make a trip to the hardware store. At least I have a blank chassis I can take for test fitting.

Re: #124 Skyliner Odd Layout
I don't like using those slip on nuts because they make the chassis raise up from the cab leaving a gap.

I think what you are looking for is called a caged nut.
Check McMaster. My source for anything odd and different.
