Re: This is crazy
I still have the original speark cable from a real Dumble cabinet. If anyone looks at it, they will probably think it's a hack job... which it probably was , since it seems Dumble used an old brown lamp cord to make it. I should put that on eBay!AtomCap wrote:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1970s-D ... Sw6dNWTIXj

Re: This is crazy
Not necessarily; on the surface yeah it's just a speaker cable but you are not paying for the sum of the actual parts, but actual origin behind it. Let's face it, real Dumble amps ceased to be only guitar amps when folks started to pay 15,20,30k for them. Dumble amps are now a commodity in some ways no different than muscle cars and the folks that go out of their way to pay extra for pieces that have all or nearly all original parts.brewdude wrote:$3k for a speaker cable?

In this context, that old speaker cable is a rare accessory for a collectable item.

I've never seen a picture or video of Lowell George using an ODRS with two pilot lights (AFAIR: red for OD ON/Off; yellow for MAINS ON/OFF)AtomCap wrote:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1970s-D ... Sw6dNWTIXj
