Clean channel on ODS type build easily breaks up
Hi guys! At what point in the clean volume's range do your builds typically break up? Using an SG with relatively hot HBs, mine breaks up at around 11. I find that this may be too early, but then this is my first ODS type build after all so would like to know your experiences. Thanks!

If your volumepotmeter is liniar (1MB) a humbucker pu will overdrive slightly at 11 o'clock.....depending on pu output...a hot hb will overdrive sooner.
With a strat you can go to 2 o'clock.
However, a if you use a 30% pot, which is in between a logaritmic and a liniar pot, smilar to what dumble have used in the amps "we know" at this forum,
your knob will go a little higher before od/saturation.
