Hi Groove,

I was just looking at pics of this amp the other day and personally i think this amp is a fake. Reasons are:-

1. The font doesn't look right to me.
2. Model on the back says OD-50W, but its 100W
3. The serial says 97, but I thought that was Beach Boys combo
4. The front panel looks almost like a sticker. From pics I've seen, originals have almost a sanded/swirl pattern.

Or it could be just me

I have seen and played that amp. It sounded very sweet, but I only played it at low volumes.

As to whether it is fake, not sure. Some things look very accurate, others look very much off, or I should say, non-typical.

I have seen another one like it that looked off from the outside. When I opened it, it was pretty obvious it was fake.

It seems a little weird that an amp owned by one of Dumble's friends would be a fake. Is the green ODS not owned by Henry Kaiser?

Like: 'AMLIFIER'.
