Hi all,
I know a lot of this is personal preference, but what're your methods for setting the pot? Using a meter to measure? Your Ear?
On my Fuchs ODS mod, I open the back and turn the pot slightly while playing and then test the setting for a few minutes before making any further adjustments. Right now mine is set for a nice clean/dirty balance but I would like more saturation than what I currently get with the settings full up. TAD short bottles, JJ 12AX7s, 16G phase reversed speaker cables, and an EVM12L and Emi RWB are what the amp currently works with.
I'm also unsure of what setting the 1st gain stage, EQ, and OD in and out should be set at while testing to deliver the most accurate results. I've also emailed Andy, but would love some user suggestions/ideas. I've been using my ear, but the meter method is interesting and I would like to know where to connect my red gator clip on the trimpot as I would like to try HAD's classic setting as well as record different ones to try out. I bias it during PT swaps so I am comfortable working inside it using the one-hand method.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Re: ODS OD gain trim pot questions
Thank you, I'm having trouble finding how to measure the pot with a meter though.
