Celestion Blackbacks with Dumble ODS??

I recently sold my '77 Marshall 50W head but I still have two 2x12 cabs loaded with '77 Celestion original 55Hz cone blackbacks. Currently building a #102 with an old Twin OT. The impedance matches but what about the tone??

Eric Johnson's "Up Close" album's dirty tones were ODS #007 into a slant 4x12 with old G12H30's 55Hz. Sounds pretty good to me!

Those speakers will sound awesome with a D style amp. I had four of them loaded in an old Marshall slant cab and it sounded great with my amps

I wish i still had this cabinet. There was a studio going out of business in winter 2010 and I grabbed this '79 Marshall cab for around $300! I ended up selling it last January but it sounded incredible.
