Kaiser's got nothing on me...

Post by ER »

A little fun and silliness to ring in the new year, not your typical dumble tones;

Apologies for phone tone, lack of practice, and bad taste in music, gag guitar etc.

My old 80's band (minus my hair) got back together after 25 years for a benefit concert and got to actually use my last build. Sometimes 100 watts +PAB is too much, the OD master is on about 2 and no problem keeping up with my big ludwig kit.:D Mono, no effects, stage volume un-miked. Surprised at the amps flexibility to dial in those old tones and get the job done.

Had some problems at sound check with clean tone going half power after the soundman blew our heads off with a shrieking PA turn on. Thought my amp was wrecked, luckily it was just my old well used and loved telefunken in V1 giving up the ghost and not the whole amp, threw a NOS sylvania in there and was good to go at concert time.

Already have new ideas for the next build to suit my matured taste in music, and something lighter and lower power. (Borderland combo?)

Sorry no video yet of the slide, it sounded nice though with the pre-classic/EL-34/100watt/precision topo.

Awesome! Looks like a fun time. Great to see a Dumble getting to do something, um, not traditional. Dude, next time there's a fight...I want you at my back with an oak chair leg for a weapon :lol: Love the Maiden tee!

Tom you might recognize our singer, he's a local businessman and city council member up there in Salem...

I got your back Colossal! Who needs an oak chair leg when you have a maple neck thru BC rich with all the pointy bits? I'm actually an agoraphobic taoist hippy with severe anxiety issues, I only look like a movie bad-guy/washed-up wrestler. Even scarier is when it's me and my "little" brother together, he's my roadie and yes he's wearing a maiden shirt too.
