This is a photo of a Ceriatone HRM.
I noticed this mini switch on the back panel under the OD trimmer control.
Anybody know what this is or what it does?

Re: What is this?
Looking where the two white wires go I'd guess it's some sort of NFB switch.

Not easy to see but either an LNFB lift or HRM lift I would guess.
Some Ctones have the LNFB lift as standard, but you can get em as a custom add on.
Had a closer look - well done that man, looks like an NFB lift!

Ah, now I see one of the white wires looks like it's going to the impedance switch.
How about the resistor is that a 1K3? (brown, orange, red?)
Is that just for anti-pop?
I used a switched pot for my presence control pot on my ODS.
All the way counter clockwise is off.
Really adds a lot of rawness to the tone.

Looks like the HRM OD TRIM pot, see the 4.7K to ground off the gnd lug?Structo wrote:This is a photo of a Ceriatone HRM.

Re: What is this?
Maybe it is a switch to defeat the outside trim pot, to a default setting....
Crank the pot above the norm to get more grindy... hit the switch to put it back to default.
Or... a nfb switch.
Guess I need to see what c-tone is doing on the schematic to be sure.
So I am guessing at this point.
Moments later:
OK. looked at their layout.
The switch is missing on that.
Their HRM has a 250K trimmer on the board (OD) that runs to the Trim pot on the back. Looks like the switch is a defeat, to bypass
the back pot to the on board trim pot setting.
Their HRM 100 Mk2 has a 100K trimmer...also with back panel pot.
Their Bluesmaster has no on board OD trimmer, only the pot on back.
Alrighty then...
