Weber "Halle" / Dumble kit mods

Post by Bob-I »

First off, I know there's folks that don't like Weber, and that's fine. I've had my issues with him but I'm not commenting on them as a retailer.

EDIT:

I've decided to no longer support Ted Weber in his kit efforts. I've removed the attachments.

OK are a few comments.

1. Bias circuit need a tail resistot tp ground off of pot. This is for protection purposes.

2. HRM tone stack values are questionable. I like a 33K slope with a 500pf treble cap.

Outside of that it is Dumle HRM amp.

I also prefer a 3K, 22K , 2K2 divider string to lower the plate voltages on V1 and V2.

Thx Gary. I forgot to modify that bias, it's downright scary. I'll go one step further and switch to a 10K pot, 50K is wayy too much range.

I'll fix the HRM and PS rail.
