Hey Kag!
Have you checked out the "Dumble files" section of this forum? It's just underneath the "Dumble discussion" link on the main forum page.
There are lots of layouts there, many different "generations", from the very early models to the more modern Dumble designs.
Hope that helps......

Re: Dumble ToneStack layout - looking for a complete version
been on my list of things to do to draw something like that up.
I think that one posted is mostly correct.
The layouts in the files sections show the components on a board, which makes it a bit hard to visualize what's actually happening with the connections.
I usually squint real hard and bang my head against the desk.

The mid pot is not right.
Lose the ground on the cw lug.
The left or ccw lug goes to ground.
The 10K from the bass pot goes to ground but not at the mid pot.
The right two lugs of the mid pot simply go to the mid cap.

Not really, the .005uf from the jazz/rock switch goes to ground.
The only wire to the mid pot is from the mid cap.

Guy's..
Why is this even being discussed.. First, there are several types of tone stacks used throughout the various generations.. In the files section you have all this information available in some rather nice layouts that is proven 1st hand my own eyes accurate..Use them..

YES!
Talbany, THANK YOU for all your hard work on the layouts! A quantum leap from where we were a few years back.

Hi Telbany
as you say there are many different versions
please can you post a link to the layout & corresponding schematic version that is represented in the incomplete file I posted ?
so I'll be able to refer to the exact version of layout to try to complete the draw of the "stand alone" ToneStack I've find
Many Thanks

Re: Dumble ToneStack layout - looking for a complete version
First off I know of no ODS that utilized both deep switch and mid boost functions together, it was either one or the other.. In the case of 124 (in the files section) the deep switch was modified into the mid boost during the Skyliner upgradeKagliostro wrote:Hi Telbany

So for the reason mentioned you won't find a schematic (like the one you posted) for an ODS that had both deep and mid boost in the files section because it never existed in a Dumble amp, so technically it's not a Dumble TS..
You certianly add both functions like in your version you posted and may even appeal to you..If you don't like the Deep option go for the 124 layout.. https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.php?t=5719

Here's info that I grabbed from threads that I keep in my Dumble folder. The comments are from Talbany and Max.
