Dumbles that used the Music Man transformer set?

Post by Mark »

I was wondering if anyone knew which type of Dumbles were built with the MM tranny sets?

I'd imagine the Bluesmaster and #183 would be candidates?

Thanks for your input.
Yours Sincerely

Not to say you couldn't do it, but #183 did not use MM iron. There's a lot of threads on Musicman iron in Dumbles, do a search.

David I did a search and found a lot info about Mercury transformers. I'll have another look, but I wouldn't have thought it would have been too many amps.

From what I've gathered around these parts, it seems to be mostly 5th Gen 100W non and HRM, although I did run across a 50W EL34 HRM combo with MusicMan iron. IIRC, #191 or #192 was a 100W MusicMan iron amp.

I thought you were talking about Music Man iron, not Mercury Magnetics iron. Two very different things!

As did I, at least that what's in his original posting heading anyway.

It is Music Man iron. I get about eight hundred plus threads/posts, I doubt there has been anywhere near that sort of discussion on that topic.

I may try and put links from my thread to the various other threads.

Thanks.

I take it that #191/192 is a 5th gen amp?
