One Tube Reverb Terminal Strip Layout - Please Verify

Post by Chris Brown »

I want to add reverb to my 124 clone...

I did this very ugly layout based on glassman's schemo...

I couldn't find any concrete info about taking power of the B+ but from what I did gather this is the accepted method...

I'm hoping some of the forum geniuses can take a quick look and let us know if there are any obvious pitfalls or blatant errors so I can update the layout before I post it to the files section.

Thanks everyone! Here it is:

I actually have eyelets on my board for the cathode resistors/caps but I figured I would add the extra terminal strip to the layout in case anyone referenced it in the future.

Looks correct to me. I drew a schematic for a reference point. I drew a 1M dwell pot instead of a 1M dwell resistor. I personally have found the dwell pot to be important to me.

With respect, 10thtx

For someone looking to add the one tube reverb to some other amp besides a D-clone, here is some additional information:

lol markus that brownnote layout is way cleaner than this one

10thTx thanks for taking your time to check my work :D

Dwell control seems like a great addition.. I always thought my fender amps needed that.

My amp is in a twin reverb chasis so I can front panel on the controls without drilling which is a bonus.

Here's an update with the dwell control... it's a little bit cleaner like this.

Any thoughts?
