Gary if you find one or know of a source please post it..I was going to roll my own..
Thanks!!..

Check the WAH inductors, there are a couple that are in that range.
The 500mH that I bought at CE actually measured 690mH.
Remember inductors and resistors follow the same rules. Two inductor in series gives 2x the inductance as long as there is no mutual coupling between the two colis.
Don't have a direct source and would have to hunt around for a source, but 900mH is not that uncommon a value. Of course inductors in that range have not been used in new designs for years. There are too many better approaches these days. State variable filters, simulated inductors, SAW filters etc etc.

Will do!!.. Thanks for the shout back..

now spill the beans!! If you know the inductance of the inductor you must know the schematic!
I think that would be much appreciated by the community!
Cheers,

I don't know anything about the SSS, but I think the 300mH tap on the old Ampeg V series amps is the 1k or center of the rocker (the one that seems most useful for guitar). Not sure how the inductor is tapped for an SVT, but Ampeg still uses it for that amp, maybe you could get an Ampeg service center to order the part, or at least find out how much it costs, and how it's tapped...
Even when you do get the occasional gutshot, the only one I have seen is very difficult to decipher, and was only a partial chassis shot. (Other than the pics of SSS #001, which have been around for a while and are not the 150W 4x6550 version everyone wants).
I have never seen a schematic off of one of those, if I had I would have built one long ago.
Nevertheless I will try it after I finish my 183-style 100W w/HRM and six position FSW.
After all I already bought the vintage repro yellow Fasel inductor for it, can't stop now!
