I have the schemos from here (many thanx for those) but I'm not seeing any voltages noted. I'm building this w/ an old power trans and it would be nice to hit the volts that make the D"Lite a delite.
If anyone can help me out w/ this I'd certainly appreciate it. Even if you just show me where my aging brain missed the obvious hahaha
thanks

Plate Volts in a D'Lite?

Re: Plate Volts in a D'Lite?
I built a D'Lite 44 (6L6) kit.
The voltages depend what tubes you are going to run in it.
Is this a 6V6 or 6L6 amp?
Some came with a dual primary output transformer so you could run both 6V6 and 6L6. (mine did)
I never ran 6V6 in it so I don't know what those pull.
I also adjusted the dropping string values to dial in my voltages.
My amp is also what we call a high plate amp which means it has the higher value plate resistors, not 100K.
But rather 220K/150K with 3K3/2K2 corresponding cathode resistors.
For the 6L6 plates I got around 430-435v.
For V1 you want around 200v
V2 the same or a little higher 210v.
For V3 the PI, you want around 290-300v.

Re: Plate Volts in a D'Lite?
Thanks, Structo. This will be a 6V6 build. I have pretty much worn out on amps that I can't turn up hahaha.
Those v's are about what I expected. Just didn't know for sure if I wanted some really low v's on V1 or not. Looks like the regular Fender rail will get me where I need to be.
thanks again
Charlie
