Attachment file is full

Post by Luthierwnc »

Hi All,

Not sure how to deal with this and the administrator link doesn't open. I got an error message that I couldn't add attachments to a PM because the attachment file was full. I don't use this a lot but I cleared all of my message files and it still comes back as full (even after a reboot and log-off). Is there a secret file I blundered past? Thanks, sh

I have the same problem it's been an on going thing for a couple years. use private email, a flickr, file sharing account to attach files.

This has been an ongoing problem here for years!!..I get PM's almost daily and most people can't attach files.. If you clear out your boxes eventually the server will reset and you will be able to attach things again (could be a week could be a month)I try to not let my box get too full and clean things out before you get that message you shouldn't run into this problem..
I prefer emails anyway..

Hope This Helps

Glad I asked. I've stopped trying to fix programming by myself. Now when I feel like it, I just go in the front yard and step on a rake until I feel better. sh

Me too. I don't understand why it cannot be fixed, but then I'm about as smart in that area as your average Taliban.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason why it acts up.

It will say that your message box is full of attachments, so you go in there and delete everything.
Still no joy.

Maybe if you sign off and then sign back in?

Not sure but Allyn said he set the file size to unlimited so it's not that.

I'll ask some of my forum owning buddies what they think. Hopefully I can find a solution..
