Aw shoot! now I need to redesign my face plate on my amp project, I had King Tone Consoul on there. Even the foot switchable FET with gain Knob on the front, I even have the same knobs as the FET knob (nice and cheap from Mouser @>10), and presence instead of mid switch too! Only difference is OD instead of reverb since I'm putting that on the reverb-a-loop. Great minds think alike...
Nice amp Shad!

Please do not feel obligated to me to make changes to your amp build.
The name was chosen by a client.
I am pretty sure there have been other amps named something similar.
Quinnamp is the only name on that amp I feel a right and need to protect.
Your in for a treat with an OD built in.
Anyway no worries here.

Of course, "Console" would be a fitting alternative to "Consoul"...

There isn't really a frame of reference for size, but based on the proportion of height to width it really looks massive... What's the weight on that?

Are you selling it with a forklift, or attaching a motor and wheels? :o

The one I'm making is 27" wide JCM800 chassis so it will be just under 29" in the cabinet to fit just right on a 4x12 or 2x12 or 2xTL806's, although I'm kinda thinking of making it as a half-blind dovetail walnut twin style with oval back 2xevm12L's, and tilt legs. Might need to keep a weight belt in the back!

LOL right?

It's pretty big but it's a 24" chassis... so maybe a few inches bigger then an Overdrive Special...
The picture angle makes it look a bit more ominous then it is truly is.
Indeed a large Marshall head is quite a few inches longer.
But yeah it'll crush small nations, launch kittens, or make you sterile if your not careful with your aim... :O)

I do need to make a note though.
Tommy Cougar contacted me today to inform that that he has been making King Tone Consoul for a few years already.
So again I could not care less... but Tommy might. ;O)

shad, Real cool on the 24" chassis fit.

Dig the Vox black diamond grill cloth looks good.

Still working out the vibrato on mine, May go with a Magnatone 280-A vibrato in mono not sure at this point.

Thanks, Steve.
