6L6 TO EL34

What grid and screen resistors are the ODS EL34 builders using?Anything else to change besides tying pin 1 to 8 and the screen resistor?

I like 5.1-5.6K grids and 1.5K screens

+1 EL34s have wimpy screens compared with 6L6GCs, so they need the bigger screen resistors and the grids allegedly sound better with 3K3 to 5K6 on them too.

My '77 Marshall 2204 has no grid resistors, but the Vp is 395V so I haven't changed that, although the preamp circuit has been changed to the 2203 three stage preamp.

Any comments on that, should I put in gridstoppers on the EL34s? It sounds kinda rough thru my 2xTL806 with EV12L and Fane Studio 12L.

Perhaps I should just do what Jimi did, turn the treble to zero and the bass to 10?
