5-pin DIN jack dimensions

Post by Colossal »

Hi All:

I am looking for the hole diameter and spacing for the Switchcraft 61GB5FX 5-pin DIN XLR jack. Switchcraft does not offer any technical drawings on their website. I emailed them and they emailed back saying I needed to go through their website to get to the appropriate salesperson for my state (Jeez guys, if you had the time to email me back, why couldn't you have just attached the drawing?) . I can do this but since this part is commonly used for Dumble builds and listed in the BOMs, I am hoping you guys might be able to help me just cut to the chase.

Mouser Part ID: 502-61GB5FX

Thanks, in advance.
Dave

The DIN housings are standardized, I've used the Neutrik and Switchcraft and usually use the Neutrik as the fitment is the same and it cots less.

The drawing below should get you what you need.

Thanks guys! Whoops, yes, I meant DIN, NOT XLR

The drawings were very helpful. Case closed!
