Definitive data ............................101

Post by dreric »

First I'd like to express my gratitude for this community. Because of what I am learning here I am pondering a project involving the most popular *umble models.

As I search the board it's hard to know for sure if one has the highest evolution of a schematic or layout.

The models I am interested in are: 101 HRM, 102?, Bluesmaster and if its ever defined the 183.

I'd like to create a post that gathers all the definitive data on each model in one place and attempts to define the differences between the models.

To make it definitive the community would have to be willing to review is there support for this kind of project?

If so what evolution on the 101 schematic is the most accurate, Layout ?

From what I have gathered the 101 schematics are a pretty good resource to base you HRM build from.
I based my amp on the 101nonHRM.

Not sure about the Bluesmaster although I have about three schematics of that circuit.
It has a different tone stack, PI and NFB/ Presence.
Mid boost relay and different PAB method.

#183 was pretty well documented in the thread from Ampdork.

Don't let that smoke out!
