Today I pulled the old cab out of the bone pile and installed my EVM 12L Classic's in it.
The cab is quite a bit bigger than the Lopoline cab I was using.
Very strongly made using 3/4" voidless plywood.
The EVM's sound better in this cab.
I've had it forever. Bought the cab in the early 70's for $35. The Vox speakers in it were pretty blown when I got it.
Like a bone head, I threw them away because I didn't know they could be reconed.
It came with the chrome roller trolley that an amp head would sit on.
That's up in the attic somewhere....
I believe mine is the Buckingham from 1965.

This cab also has a 6.5" x 3.5" horn made by Goodmans, the 15 ohm Midax.
I pulled that out because I think it was rattling.
This old cab is built well, 3/4" voidless plywood.
This website is the only place I found a bunch of pictures.

Some of the cabs I saw there had oval ports in the back sort of like the Dumble cabs so maybe that is where he got the idea.

Here is that horn that was in it. I wonder if it is worth anything?
There is a oil filled cap can for a cross over in the cab.

Anyway, I'm glad to be able to put the old cab back into service.
I was bored........
