#040 chassis dimensions

Post by Runaway J »

Hi,
we're still busy preparing drawings for a #040 chassis replica ( https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.php?t=10413 )
and need some first hand information according to chassis dimensions and wall thickness. I think the correct chassis dimensions are 19.25" x 2.5" x 8" (identical to Ceriatones OTS chassis), but the wall thickness is hard to estimate.
Is there someone willin' to chime in who knows some facts ?
Thanks.

I don't if #40 is the same size chassis as #124 ODS but Martin Manning made this very nice chassis drawing a while back that I saved.

Yes, that layout is a good point to start, but the old silverface types are a bit different.
Thanks Structo.
