Relay supplies...again
I'm starting a build that will use the Radio Shack 450mA transformer for the relay supply. I was thinking of regulating it down to 5v - just because I have a 5v regulator on hand and plenty of 5v relays. Is there any reason NOT to do this?

Re: Relay supplies...again
I have used the 5V relays in three different ODS style amps with no problems.

Re: Relay supplies...again
I'm using a modern switch mode powersupply that came with a delay pedal to supply 7 12v realys in my 2 channel ODS/HRM amp.
You can use whatever supply for your realys as long as the supply won't induce hum into the ciicuit. The sound of these amps is not in the relays or their supply.
