Sheesh. You've got some great ideas there, Henry. One's that I've thought about doing, but you've done them really elegantly. The voicing on the OD section...not sure what you're doing there, though.

The other thing is the slick layout ergonomically. I'm a usability guy by profession, and having the labels on the faceplate and on the horizontal crosspiece in front of the controls is slick. Nicely done, and I bet it sounds fantastic.

Its a 3 pole switch and manipulates various combination's of entrance values, bypass cap and fizz filter.

There's red tolex on there :D Sometimes a customer wins the argument, something about looking a certain way for the videos.

It's incredible what you manage to cram into a chassis of this size 8)

May I ask what kind of push pull pots you're using?

Thanks! :D
So far the only 24mm push pull pots I was able to find are CTS SPST. Where can I get 24mm Alphas DPDT ?

You can get 16MM ALPHA smooth shaft pull pots from Mouser or Antique.

Thanks! These are the ones I found. I thought that there are also 24 mm pull Alphas. Are the 16 mm reliable from your experience?

Other than the smaller panel hole, you'd never know the difference between the 16mm and the 24mm - BONUS: actually smoother than the CTS pots.

Good to know! Thanks :D
So far I used the 16 mm Alphas a lot in stompboxes including a D-style stompbox preamp (and liked the smooth feeling of them) but I was hesitant to put them in a "real" amp....paranoid I guess

When I first looked at that I thought it was just the reflection of the labeling onto a shiny metal trim, but it would be upside down if it were.

So that is another label there fore the controls?

So you can see them when standing over it?

Mucho Cool! :D

The labels are really handy on small combo amps because you're always looking down at them.

Is that a piece of anodised laser etched aluminum or an adhesive type label?
