Well my pig is finished for the most part, minus the string resistors. She passed the smoke test with flying colors, 516V unloaded. I'm thinking she should fall in around 490V or so.

Very nice TM.
so the amp is a #40 hybrid, Is it a cross between #124 and #40?
Just #40 pre amp board?

Thanks guys, yeah "hybrid" in the sense that it has the precision power supply, separate masters and mid boost.
The preamp board is pretty much all #40, except I changed the GNFB resistor to a value more inline with a 100W vs a 50W and I used a different value resistor after the V2b coupler.

I wish someone would offer a run of #40 chassis as per Tony's layout.

I don't think we'll be doing one anytime soon. :(

I'm waiting for delivery on transformers to build something similar, 40-ish clean and separate masters with a precision power supply and 100 watts of EL34. For the OD channel I'm going to try a Hiwatt style tone stack at the entrance with the controls on the front panel. If that doesn't work well it will switch to a final stage cathode follower tone stack or standard HRM.

Putting it all in a JCM800 size chassis and foot switching for FET, OD, and bypass on either tonestack. should keep me busy for a while.

I like the idea of what you did, the early pre with big power and tight power supply.

Any clips yet?
