Exactly, I've seen other videos where Iceracer is using an ODS amp and I wondered whether the Manzamp had run it's course.

50nF seems kinda big for the couplers out of the 1st triode stages..

No grid stoppers on the power tubes with those big ol' 100nF couplers and 220k grid leaks?
It's true i've lost my marbles and i cant remember where i put them

I agree on the grid stoppers, you'd think there would be something there though I suspect the P.I. stage has less output than the stock Tweed P.I. stage.

The first stage coupling cap is big and it is highly debateable if you'd hear the difference between 0.022uF and 0.05uF.

Is Iceracer still using it?

Did he mod it after some months of use or leave it as is?

It's the Dumble that gets the least love it seems.

Just curious. :D
Out of curiosity I was doing an internet search on "Manzamp" to see if any new information is available. But the Google hits brought me back to this thread that I see has some activity.

The Manzamp replica is alive and well and is in my studio where it gets use. I have not changed a thing, even still has the tubes I used when I first fired it up. Sounds so good, I don't want to change a thing.

No amp building lately, as I got into archtop guitars. Here I made an ES-150 out of an old L50.

All of your images are 'broken' to me. You can just upload them here so they're saved on this forum for future use.

This Manzamp still ranks close to the top in my favorite Dumble tones. Closest sound to Larry Carlton playing with FourPlay to my ears.

For those of you who may not have heard the YouTubes of this amp:

I don't have any Manzamp recordings from the new studio in the pictures above. I'll have to make some and upload them.

I can't thank you enough for the excellent job you did on this! Everything is perfect, like the tweed direction and all the little construction details.

The suggestion of those corners was epic (they are not in any of the original pictures). As you may recall, a picture of the front of the real Manzamp surfaced after you did your work and indeed it had those corners!

This is the front of the real one:

this looks like the amp Eric Clapton is using at the moment. I didn't ask my friend to look at it closely when he did crossroads last month. All he said was that Dumble had built him a Tweed bandmaster. It looks from a distance just like this.Mind you they do all look the same from the front. :D

That is a pretty quick delivery from Dumble. I was expecting years till the amp surfaced. What is the story on what it sounds like?

I wonder what drove the change from low powered Twins to a Bandmaster?
Yours Sincerely
