Here is a pretty good Temperature Coefficient chart for ceramic caps.

I haven't tried these. My friend has and he likes them.

I wonder how his polyester "Orange Dips" would sound vs. 6PS?

I was curious about those polyester orange dips as well. The price is right, and close.

I've been using glass caps just because they are available in my lab for free. Are these a poor choice? Haven't tried anything else for comparison.

I know this is a dumble discussion, but I tried polystyrene in my super reverb, though it sounded nice clean, it added too much detail and as a result sounded harsh with even a smooth distortion circuit in front of it. I think I just prefer ceramics though I'd like to try different types.

Very perceptive Gary. 8)
I had an amp that would change / shift the tone after an hour of playing. It was attributed to the temp coefficient of the ceramic I was using. After switching from an X7R to COG(NPO) the problem went away.
Can you tell me how the tone changed after an hour of playing.
I have similar problems with my ceriatone amps.
